Runoff Election Notice

Tuesday, December 5, 2023 there will be a Runoff Election for Waukon City Council At-Large. Polling place hours will be 7am – 8pm on election day, December 5.

There will only be ONE polling location that day at the County Courthouse in Waukon, in the Board of Supervisors room. All 3 Waukon wards will vote at the courthouse. Eligible voters for this election must reside within the city limits of Waukon.

Absentee voting by mail is available with Absentee Ballot Request forms due to the Auditor’s office by 5pm on Monday, November 20.  In-Person Absentee voting will start in the Auditor’s office as soon as ballots are ready. The Auditor is anticipating ballots will be received and ready for voting in-person sometime on November 17. Once ballots are ready, anyone wishing to vote absentee in-person during office hours may do so Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm up through Monday, December 4. The Auditor’s office will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on both November 23 and 24.
