Expression of Interest – City Council At-Large Seat

Anyone interested in being appointed to the City Council At-Large vacancy shall complete an Expression of Interest Letter.  This should be returned to the City Clerk at cityclerk@cityofwaukon.com or dropped off at City Hall.
Whoever is appointed this seat will serve until the November 2025 election. Someone can be appointed even if they don’t want to run on the November ballot. The person elected would take the oath and serve from November for the 4-year term. If someone is appointed and wants to be on the ballot, they would need to submit the paperwork required.

The letter of interest should be returned by Noon on Friday, March 28th.  Appointment of this seat is scheduled for April 7, 2025 at 5:30 PM.
