February 26, 2024 City Council Minutes – Special

The Waukon City Council met in special session on February 26, 2024, at 8:00 A.M. in the council room of City Hall, 101 Allamakee Street. Mayor Pro Tem Kevin Johnson presided. Council members present: John Lydon, Kevin Johnson, Steve Wiedner and Dave Blocker (via zoom due to work). Council members absent: Nick Engrav. Others present: City Manager Gary Boden, Patty Nordheim, Jeremy Strub, Troy Gress and The Standard – Joe Moses.

The mayor pro tem called the meeting to order.

 

Council Member Blocker asked about the bid process with Strub explaining how and why the bids were collected and noting the ones that were updated were the ones that fit the needs requested.

To approve the UTV purchase from Iron Hill Harley-Davidson and Powersports for $16,855.37.

The mayor pro tem declared the motion carried.
