February 12, 2024 City Council Minutes – Special

The Waukon City Council met in special session on February 12, 2024, at 8:00 A.M. in the council room of City Hall, 101 Allamakee Street. Mayor Arvid Hatlan presided. Council members present: John Lydon, Kevin Johnson and Dave Blocker. Council members absent: Steve Wiedner and Nick Engrav. Others present: City Manager Gary Boden and The Standard – Joe Moses.

The mayor called the meeting to order.

To approve Class C Retail Alcohol license with outdoor service for Good Fella’s Bar LLC d/b/a Good Fella’s Bar, 29 W Main St. (pending dramshop review).

Yes: 3 | Absent: 2 | No: 0

The mayor declared the motion carried.

To Adopt final assessment schedule for the 9 Allamakee Nuisance Abatement Project and Confirming and Levying the Assessments.

Yes: Johnson, Lydon, Blocker | Absent: Engrav, Wiedner | No: 0

The mayor declared the resolution passed. The Clerk assigned number 24-24 to the resolution.
