Walk to Remember 2024
Please make plans to join us in this wonderful opportunity to remember ALL little angels at the Annual Walk to Remember located in the Waukon City Park at the Sweeney Shelter.
This day’s activities are dedicated to the memories that could have been with little angels lost far too soon for any reason. Walk to remember your angel, a friend’s angel or just participate to support any of the families that have traveled this painful journey at any point in their life. You do not have to have experienced your own loss to join us. Attending to show your support for others who have suffered a loss is greatly appreciated. Most families appreciate their little angel being remembered to any degree.
This is a casual, non competitive event that allows anyone to pay tribute to the little angels. Registration will be at the Sweeney Shelter beginning at 1:00 p.m. The walk will begin at 2:00 p.m. starting at the Sweeney Shelter, walking through the park, participating in a flower release at the pond then ending back at the Sweeney shelter. There will be activities available to pay tribute to all the little angels in our lives.
If you would like to purchase a Heart to be placed on the Angel Tribute Sign, this will be available at the walk. You are able to individually recognize your Angel with this tribute. The cost is $35.00 to purchase the heart. Previews of all items for sale are visible in an album posted on our group page.
